AC/DC Conquers The Colosseum In Rome
October 18, 2008According to the Italian news blog Musica Metal, the Italian branch of Sony BMG celebrated the release of AC/DC's new album, "Black Ice", by projecting the band's logo on the external walls of the Colosseum in Rome, one of the most recognizable historical buildings in the world. The AC/DC logo could be seen from miles away in Rome, where it remained all night between October 16 and October 17.

Tickets for the two Italian shows on AC/DC's upcoming "Black Ice Tour" — scheduled to take place March 19 and March 21, 2009 — sold out within an hour after they went on sale last weekend.
